He played for Champions side of Rajasthan Royals in first season of IPL. Sohail Tanvir was not a big icon player but he played a great role in the victory of Rajasthan Royals side. He is the real hero of Rajasthan Royal Champions Team.
Sohail Tanvir, born on December 12, 1984 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan is one of the emerging young talents in the world of cricket. Like most of the stars from his country he too started to play the game of cricket on the streets of his city. Ever since Tanvir entered the International arena, he has been scrutinized for his rather unconventional bowling action. Tanvir’s appearance on the International stage was nothing short of a miracle. During the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup held in South Africa in 2007, Tanvir was called at the eleventh hour as a replacement of ‘Rawalpindi Express’ Shoaib Akhter when he had to be sent home after he allegedly hit Mohammad Asif with a bat.

You may call it baseball version of cricket, traditional 3 hours Indian movie or game of sixes but Indian premier league is thrilling, entertaining and great addition to the world of sports.
Cricket loving nation of India is really enjoying the Indian premier league contest and supporting there City team whole heartedly but neighboring Pakistani spectators need reason to support any one of the team. and showbiz is the only reason so far.
Indian premier league is giving chance to Pakistani players to earn big bucks as well as provide great entertainment to Pakistanis and also super stars like Shahrukh khan and preety zienta have make it fun to watch. Instead of calling it kolkata Knight rider, Pakistani and world spectator calling it Shahrukh Khan Team and no one takes interest in Punjab but Preety zienta is only representative of Punjab.
Surely it will take some time to brand the teams just like English Football clubs, not locally but internationally, and Surely this will be a great achievement of Lalit modi and BCCI if they succeeded to project Indian Premier league at that high standard..
