Twenty20 Champions league Next Schedule

Inaugural T20 Champions league is rescheduled to October 2009 after mumbai attacks, which was planned in December 2008. Six teams are confirm to participate but other two will be finalized till Jan 2009.
This was decided in governing council meeting which is comprise of Board of India, Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa.
Cricketing fans must wait for about 10 months to see Champions fighting for ultimate glory and there may be changes in teams as IPL is to be held in Alpril 2009.
What should Cricket fans Expect from Twenty20 Champaions League

It’s another thriller and it’s creating a buzz around. Cricketing fans are looking for Twenty20 Champions league as amazing championship where teams from 5 different countries will entertain them with sixes and action.
If we compare Twenty20 champions league with the very successful and innovative Indian premier league, I’d say Twenty 20 Champions league would be a greater hit and grab more attention from twenty fans and also mainstream media will give more coverage and it will be a mega event as it will be telecast across the wolrd.
Some Twenty 20 Fans may remain indifferent during Indian premier league but Twenty 20 champions league will also grab attention of those people and this will make T20CL more entertaining and watched.
India is really becoming the Best place for cricket as there are so many cricket is being played in India and Indian team is really doing well and same is expected from indians teams in Champions league twenty20 but I think the challenge is tough and only team with champions mind will dominate.
Pakistani Team, on the other hand, is deprived from cricket and Due to pakistan internal crisis and board…But they look well prepared in there domestic tournament and World is expecting much from Sialkot stallions.
The favorite teams in Champions league twenty20 are teams from South Africa as they have experience in playing twenty20 and they can change the game at every moment because they understand Twenty20.
But again, In the game of cricket especially in Twenty20, you can’t predict anything. Prize money is so huge that every team will fight for ultimate glory. Only the team with champion philosophy will reach there…

Champions League Twenty20 After Mumbai Attacks

Most awaiting Champions League twenty20 is in danger. Teams from England and australia are feeling the danger and security risk. Middlesex, only team from England also delayed or probably cancelled it tour to india for twenty20 champions league.
Australia Board is also very serious for its two twenty20 Champions teams and already suspended its tour for twenty20 champions league. South african board is also waiting for further advice.
Officials of twenty20 champions league are trying to convince the teams and shifting hte vanue of the matches is the first step. They want it on schedule and in peace with all team participation.
ICL world series todays matches has been canceled and they are increasing security for teams and venues.
These bomb attacks will not only disturb economic activities but cricketing activities also as many team may deny to visit India. Shifting the series to other location outside of india can be one option but Indian board would never use it because of cricket fans in India.
On the other hand, Teams from england and australia must be determine to fight for $3 millions and they may agree to play Champions league after they get confirmation on venue change.

Nashua Dolphins in Twenty 20 Champions League

In the upcoming Twenty 20 Champions League starting from 3 December, 2008 in the Indian cities of Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore, Nashua Dolphins will be a formidable force and their talented bowling attack and outstanding fielding may earn them the title of the Champions.
Nashua Dolphins is the domestic South African team that represents the KwaZulu Natal Cricket Team. They take part in the ongoing Super sports domestic competitions. Their performances in the MTN Domestic Championship and Standard Bank Pro20 have been remarkable. They are based in the Sahara Park Knigsmead, Durban which has a rich history of cricket.
The first ever test match was staged in Kingsmead was in 1923. In the decade of 1980s extensive renovation was done and brand new stands were constructed on the Umgeni End and Old Fort Road End. But the old main Grandstand still reminds of the glorious test matches played in the past. The stadium currently has a capacity for 25000 fans. As the pitch is laid slightly below sea level, due to rise in water tide in evenings bowlers find a lot of swing to trouble the batsmen.
Their skipper is Ahmed Amla, brother of South African International Hashim Amla, who is a middle order batsman and also contributes with his leg spinners. Other prominent batsmen include veteran HD Ackerman, Hashim Amla and Imran Khan. The real strength of Dolphins lies in their bowling attack with Johan Louw and Yusuf Abdullah being the new ball spearheads. Johan Louw was especially successful in the recent domestic season and is all set to join the Proteas. Abdullah is a quick left-arm fast bowler who surprises batsmen with quick and accurate yorkers and bouncers. Right Arm medium pacer Alfonso Thomas is also an economical bowler and gives little freedom to the batsmen.

Sialkot Stallions is the only team from Pakistan that will feature in the inaugural Twenty20 Champions League staring from December 3, 2008. Sialkot Stallions founded in 2002 are the current champions of the RBS Twenty20 Cup, formerly known as the ABN-AMRO Twenty20 Cup. The Stallions have dominated the domestic Twenty 20 competition for the last three years and have won the Twenty 20 title for three consecutive years.
The Pakistan Captain and flamboyant all-rounder Shoaib Malik is the skipper of the Stallions and has a pivotal role in their success as he makes solid contributions in all the three departments.
